Finance Council Home Page

The Finance Council indirectly supports every St. Margaret Mary ministry. By helping orchestrate parish finances, the Council supports the parish’s fiscal stability which provides for the ongoing ministries of St. Margaret Mary Church.

Financial solvency is one of the four major parish needs that have been identified by the Parish Survey. One of the Finance Council’s primary responsibilities is the oversight of the parish's support and other receipts. The Council regularly reviews the financial statements with the Business Manager and provides feedback to the Pastor.

The Council also invests considerable time preparing the annual fiscal budget and monitors the performance of the parish’s investment funds.
